A little Texas-style European humor. We have a lady at work named Marlene and she has a very thick German accent. i wasn't sure where exactly she was from (Germany, Switzerland, Austria??) so finally i asked her and she made me play a little game of "guess which country i am from, and it's not the one you think". Anyhoo, i assumed that meant she was NOT from Germany so i guessed Switzerland, Austria, Hungary....the game went on. The funny part was when i got to Liechtenstein. She scoffed and said, "You think i come from a country i could spit across." OK, maybe it's not that funny, and i mean no disrespect to the people of that country. i'm sure they are lovely and do not suffer from map envy. By the way, the correct answer WAS actually Germany. She was making a joke that she did not come from Texas. German humor.....
