[Now that the event is over, Hong Kong's apathy has worn off and he's doing things over than sitting in the corner of the room in total silence. Like trying to move furniture back into it's rightful place and making this post.

Raise your hand if you ever noticed anything wrong with him.]

That was... Weird.

Atoli, sorry about before. Just ignore that ( Read more... )

taiwan has trained him well, fail teenager, talkative, trying to make up for it, event: ghost apathy, atoli, no real difference, weak against girls

Oh, you're OK now? That's great!

And we can do whatever you'd like! Walking, or cooking, or looking at cute animals! Anything would be fun.

Right! [ She leads the way to a room with a medium-sized kitchen. Yes those are sparkles that you are seeing she worked so hard on cleaning. ]

You can set all your stuff down on the counter. But you didn't have to bring anything, really!

[Dazzled.] It's polite. [Puts his stuff down, it's just a few cans of stuff they can use to make a sauce or a side dish or something, and examines the kitchen. He is impressed, Atoli.]

Thanks a lot, then! [ She is quite proud of herself, really. She then takes out the meat she was trying to find before. ]

I think this is the closest to duck meat we have here. What kind of dish do you have in mind?

We could roast it, maybe? How do you normally like your food?

I usually just make quick things for myself. Just as long as it doesn't have too many vegetables in it, I'm fine with anything! You're the one who's going to teach me proper Cantonese style cuisine!

Mun only know how to eat Canton cuisine, not cook it. So prepare for BSing. a_thousandyears April 24 2010, 10:25:26 UTC
We'll roast it then. But we need to make the sauce first.

Got it! [ She starts preheating the oven. ] So what are we going to do for the sauce?

True that. But seriously, no one try to learn to cook from me, I'm half English. a_thousandyears April 24 2010, 10:34:50 UTC
Well, these should do... [Remember those misc cans I mentioned? They are being grabbed.] We'll need to mix them up and turn them into a paste first.

And I have no idea how to cook anything ever. Except pancakes. dontkickit April 24 2010, 10:43:04 UTC
[ She nods and takes a few of them, finding something sharp to open them with. She looks around and there are a few mixing tools and a fairly non-destroyed bowl! She grabs those mixing tools and the bowl and puts it in front of them. ]

Is there anything else I should get beforehand?

Now you mention it, the best way to eat Peking Duck is with pancakes. a_thousandyears April 24 2010, 10:44:57 UTC
Some clean water, and a pot we can use to boil it as it mixes.

I am an expert on pancakes I got this dontkickit April 24 2010, 10:51:48 UTC
[ Luckily she put most tools around her just in case, so she grabs a pot and moves it to the sink, waiting a few moments for the water to stop looking like... Not water. When there's a good amount of water in the pot she places it on the burners. ]

This is going to be fun, I can tell!

Ironically, I had to leave to quickly cook my real dinner, sorry. a_thousandyears April 24 2010, 11:33:20 UTC
Mm. [Small smile for you.] We only need a little water for now. But first put this and this in the pot and mix it as it gets hotter. We don't want it to boil properly though. [Watch his mun type as if she knows what she's talking about he's actually a really good chef.]

[ She turns on the burners to low and after a little while starts putting in the ingredients as the water gets hotter. Mixing as she talks. ]

I hope I can learn a lot more recipes from you too. This is sure to make me an even better cook! [ She is a good chef too. The mun just lacks any sort of knowledge in this department what is boiling water. ]

I am pretty good, but even the best chefs can improve! [ Mix mix mix. ] I've never really tried much Cantonese food before... I trust you know what you're talking about, though! It's got to be delicious.
