Something I don't think I've seen in furs (or catgirls for that matter) of the feline variety, is the third eyelid. Or do most animals have that? Recall only felines.
So instead of dark circles the third eyelid would show up on tired eyes. It'd be wierd, but make sense.

Something like a third eyelid shows up on lizards/reptiles, but it's a clear membrane thing.
