guyssss
I'm running out of money and have to eat beans every day because tuition is $11000 and that's half the money I have
should I go to law school? I bet I could be a defense lawyer
I don't know what I want to study or do with my life
and I'm ANXIOUS
deciding time costs money

Most people don't know what they want to do--most of us don't have a passion like Alex's--or if we do, it's not one that translates clearly into a line of work.

I'm in favor of using this time to pursue your interests in anything--languages, psychology, literature, history, whatever. What that 11,000 is purchasing is your right to hang around with other students, use the library, etc. etc.--and learn stuff. This is your chance to suck it all in without too many other obligations (except to earn enough to get some beans to eat each day :-| )

As seyeh will tell you, a regular old degree from a liberal arts school doesn't guarantee you much of a job--you are better off than with just a high school degree, but maybe not tons better off. But the courses and the people you get to meet open up your eyes to more possibilities, etc., about life and the future--so for that, it's worth it ( ... )

(And I realize what I said came off totally sounding like a dis of your current job, which I did NOT mean it to be. I was thinking of the struggle you had to get where you are. Your current job may not do everything you want, but it's not a bad job--I mean, looking at it from the outside...)
