Another CoE Fail

Firstly - apologies for all the CoE and, more recently Gwen-centred bashing in this journal. I promise you it will eventually, maybe, someday ... stop. Okay, the Gwen-bashing might, but CoE was so much fail even bringing Ianto back won't make me see that many positives, I shouldn't think ( Read more... )

Personally, I find the whole maximum 21 degrees temperature in September to be more offensive. ;)

But, hell, I didn't even know CoE was set in September. Shows how much I was paying attention, really.

I read somewhere that it was set in November. But as RTD would say, details, details, feck them details. Who cares if Ianto has 3 birthdays or if Dr Who dates and TW dates are a year off, he's the world's greatest writer (yes he is, cause he told you so).

And I just spent an hour determining what day of the week Christmas would have fallen on the December after the Battle of Canary Wharf (not so hard except for that DW/TW year difference confusion). Hey I'm not saying I'm a better writer than him but at least I can get my facts right.

I see it as yet more evidence that shows proof-possitive that the whole COE debacle was set in an alternate universe... See, it's an AU where the school week runs Tuesday through Saturday, a triple deadlock can't keep petty car thieves from the TW SUV, and Jack couldn't save Ianto.

Now, meanwhile, back in OUR reality...
