I know! That's been driving me crazy. At first, I thought he was just being cagey and trying not to break the illusion that he's very Cathal-esque. But then I thought about it some more. Aspiring actors are often dirt poor and his parents...just aren't around very much, right? Has anybody ever seen them supporting him at all this stuff he does? Seems weird...but I can't remember ever seeing them. Maybe he's just kept them out of the limelight. I dunno.

Colin himself told the story how he first told his parents about his role in Merlin and how happy they were for him. And they were at the premiere of Island in Glasgow and who knows if they did not attend his plays, I know that I wouldn't recognise them.

Colin talks about his parents a lot. How they supported him by attending rehearsals in the early days of his career. Furthermore they've been to Pierrefonds at least one occasion. Why do you think they're poor? They live/lived in a very nice part of Armagh. Don't sound poor to me.
