Although circumstances are vastly different and my feelings don't match up with Merlin's in this situation, it's still a very special day for us Dutch folks.

We don´t have a monarchie (thank god) but I like to watch the british. ;)

I wish the Dutch all the best!

And now I will watch the pic of Merlin and bask in his happiness!

Have a happy day off in The Nederlands.

This country praises itself as the oldest kingdom in the world. I find it very embarrassing, it just means they should have shut down that institution long before everyone else.

Can't make my mind up about what the Merlin Show has to say about royal houses...

I'm irritated that we didn't get to see Colin shirtless when he was all bulked up, because who knows if he'll ever do that again. Judging by the sweater photos he's still got "it" under there, but there's not much to give us hope we'll ever see he glorious pale body.

It's kind of ironic that the Netherlands even has a monarchy, if you think about it. Sometimes I think the USA could have used one. For anyone who's anti-monarchist, you should probably be grateful, because otherwise the head of government becomes inflated into a monarch-ish state. You'll never see a US president subjecting himself to questions from the House. Best to confine all the pomp to people who have no other job but to carry all that.
