He's gorgeous no matter what, but I have to say, am not loving the new do. I'm not a fan of this looks like someone attached him with a hair straightener and a bottle of gel look - I LOVE the natural curl to his hair. *pouts* That being said, I'm anxious to see him in Quirke (though am kind of half hoping they don't go beyond three episodes considering what happens in the 6th book *sob*), though I'm disappointed that he doesn't get to use his own accent once again.
Apparently it was a huge shock to people on Twitter that Colin was Irish...like they didn't realize he wasn't British until they heard his acceptance speech in his native accent.
That cracks me up. (Of course, I am more than a casual fan of the man...)
It reminds me of some people's reaction here in the States to Hugh Laurie when he did DVD extras for House M.D. People were blown away that he was British because he did such a convincing American accent!
"more than a casual fan" ... Mmmm, hmmm. Know what you mean :) It's not a super popular show in America, so I don't get to talk about it much. My phone wallpaper is Mr. Morgan! Once, on an airplane, I dropped my phone. The young woman next to me picked it up and commented on the good-looking guy in the picture... "is that your son?" Ummm, no. I told her he was a fabulous actor she needed to watch out for! She said "And he's hot!" Why, yes, indeed.
I have him as phone's wallpaper too, people keep asking if he's my boyfriend... I wish! But well, I think I'm among the 10 people in Brazil that follows the show...
