It's a gift from the cosmos to women everywhere? Seriously though, you could never get such a collection of nice and hot in the US. I am firmly convinced of it. Hot? Yes. Nice? Yes. But both? That many guys, that nice and that good looking? Never.
This is my favorite Cold Con picture. His arm. Perfection, from just the right amount of muscle to the sexy arm hair - I know he did this by working out, but his muscles look natural rather than pumped up like Tom Hopper's (not that I wouldn't want to lick him too).
I have a cropped version of this photo as the wallpaper on my phone so I can stare at it all day.
I would do anything, and I mean anything, even drown a puppy, for five minutes with him. (I wouldn't really drown a puppy. Maybe throw a water-balloon at it.)
I watched the video and when he pointed to the girl who screamed the loudest, the muscle definition on his arm was wibble-worthy. Do you guys see that? Someone needs to a do a capture on that. Seriously.
But far more impressive, as always, is how genuinely kind, interesting and humble Colin is in person.
There was that lovely moment where he made a little speech about how thankful he was for everyone showing up to support indie movie-making, how nice it was to see that everyone believed in it and wanted to work together to see movies like Cold put out there. He was so sweet about it that everyone went all silent and Eoin said, "I think I'm gonna' cry."
Which made everyone crack up.
But I had the feeling that those three guys, good friends of Colin's and all, still stand back in amazement at him sometimes. Because doesn't it just seem that Colin has a genuine goodness inside him?
I love his new toned up body - those arms *dies* - but I hope he stops at this and doesn't overdo it. I'm not a fan of overly muscly types. Colin has a naturally slim and wiry frame and to change that too much would be a mistake, I think. Having said that, I would love a shirtless!merlin scene, just one. Is that too much to ask? Why have we been waiting since the first damn episode for a repeat of that? Come on TPTB. Although I do wonder if it could be a case of Colin himself not particularly wanting to go down that route?
I agree, we don't want him to overdo it. I'm Goldilocks, I like not too big and not too small, and Colin is just right! Also I don't think its him not wanting to go down that route, as he has been totally naked on stage before. I wouldn't think the had a problem with it. I also heard on an interview (with Julian Jones) that he does aske for a change of clothes and/or to loose the scarf. But TPTB just refuse! I mean he's not superman with a leotard and cape, he can change his clothes and people will still recognise him!
Although I do wonder if it could be a case of Colin himself not particularly wanting to go down that route?
I don't know the man's mind, obviously, but it would seem odd for him to be shy about such things at this point where he's already performed on stage in the nude.
I think it's more of TPTB not wanting such things. Merlin's supposed to be scrawny and weak because he has this incredible amount of magic. You know, two sides of the same coin; Arthur is brawny and Merlin is brainy. That doesn't fly as well if Merlin is as buff (for his body type) as Arthur. That's also why they drown Colin in his clothes (although admittedly, that's not working nearly as well this year. Thank GOD for BBC's small budget that kept them from having all kinds of new clothes made to drown Colin in again!)
Seriously, his costume now is doing NOTHING to hide the new muscles...thank God! I keep getting distracted by his pecs shifting under Merlin's clingy tunic and the neckerchief now just acts as an arrow drawing your attention to it :D
