Yes! The difference between series 1 and both 2 and 3 is huge. It must be the goofy hair, because when you look at pics from 'A prayer for my daughter' (both the play itself and the behind the scenes footage of the Merlin read-through and such) he looks so much older.

I keep on and on and on looking at Colin just unable to take in how much he's *changed*. And how well that change fits the role. It's like they caught him at exactly the right time, but who knew he'd grow up in 3 years the way he has? It's a mystery.
