Supanova Sydney Report Day 1. aka The Day My Brain Melted.

Jun 26, 2013 19:25

I had a pretty good view from my seat, and took some videos, however, they aren’t very good quality. Hopefully someone else has better ones to upload. There are a few minutes missing here and there, as we weren’t really supposed to be recording, but I did manage to capture most of the panel.

I think Bradley struck a good balance between humorous ( Read more... )

It was so wonderful to meet you and share stories of meeting these fabulous bastards! The whole weekend was AMAZING and I didn't know that's where the matching shirts came from, so thanks for all the additional info! <333

Ditto re meeting you too! It was great to meet so many like minded people and be able to share the squee with people. :D It really added to the whole experience. A few of them are also gong to the Perth show this weekend so hopefully I'll see some familiar faces there (still can't believe I'm going!).

Thank you for doing this report...we who are living vicariously through you, thank you! :) I'm glad you had a nice time. It sounds like you are being a tourist in Australia...do you get a chance to tour around and see the sites now?

I'm starting to sound like a broken record but Bradley (and Eoin, Tom and Rupert) sound like such nice men. Sassy and a bit naughty but in a good way. I still don't get where people think Bradley is standoffish (or rude). He seemed to go out of his way not to be standoffish ??

Oh, and I am happy to learn about the shirts too...I didn't see any photos of them in the 'Bradley organized shirts'...must go look again I guess... :) poor me!

They are all absolutely lovely, nice, nice people. I'd love to just sit down with them (or at least Bradley) and just chat about anything and everything.

As for Bradley, rude/standoffish are definitely 2 words I'd never use to describe him. He seemed to go out of his way to accommodate the fans, as evidenced in some of the wacky photo poses. He was usually happy to oblige with a hug at the autograph table too.

I think the Bradley organised shirts only appeared in the first few photos. I've seen a few pics with them on tumblr and twitter, but not many. If nothing else, it at least indicates what time of day the photos were taken. :)

lol, no not a tourist to Australia, although I'm not a native of Sydney, so I did do some siteseeing whilst I was there. :D

:) I think I've read a few too many tidbits about this event (yours is a good one) as I think I got you mixed up with some other person...I have no idea now how I got the idea you were visiting AU. HaHa Good thing you did see a bit of Sydney though.

Shares your flail. Intelligent questions were duly appreciated and produced intelligent answers. Perhaps they should display that on the screen behind them in Perth with a bullet list of Please don't ask...s
Thorough gentlemen. I'm so glad (and enormously jealous) that you were able to spend so much one-on-one time with them. It may not seem much to you, but it's more than a lot of people got.

If only! Honestly, some of the comments/questions in the general audience panel on Sunday were just ridiculous and/or embarrassing. Same with the Eoin/Rupert/Tom panel on Friday night. The opening question then was 'what hair products do you use?' WTH? Welcome to Australia!

Believe me, it means a lot to me too! I just wish I could remember more of the nitty gritty details to share with people, as I always appreciate the little details in other people's reports from various encounters.

And yes, they were/are definitely thorough gentlemen. :D

Excellent report! Great to hear how gracious, charming, and patient (among other things) that Bradley, and the other gentlemen, were.
