Commericials.

The volume increases on the channel during commericials! This forces me to turn down the volume on the tv during commericials, but then turn it up again when whatever show I am watching returns from the commericial break! It can be quite annoying, especially when there are more commericials...

Most remotes and TVs also have a "mute" button. It's still a pain in the behind, but way less annoying than trying to find that perfect level of volume every time.
