I thought I should learn to cook if I'm going to continue to work here. And besides, Fay came up with the idea to try recreating dishes from the other worlds, and I didn't want to bother the manager with every little thing.

Yes, I don't think the cafe has ever been particularly busy; not many people know about it. I've recently been working on ways to attract more customers, and because of some of the suggestions I received, I thought it might be easier on the manager if I tried cooking myself so I wouldn't have to bother him with everything.

Yes, we're working on that... Fay and I are, anyway. We were thinking that recreating dishes from what people remember of their own worlds might catch some attention.

I have a list of other ideas, too, actually, but I thought I'd start with this one.

This is actually just a trial run, though. It was an apple pastry recipe from a book in the library. I wanted to start with something simple first, just in case I messed it up.
