I wouldn't say it was a bad analogy. It's natural to want more power to change the way things are, but it's only possible to become a queen at best. Never a king.

Heh, all this talk of chess is reminding me of home.

I'd rather not be either form of royalty.
I just want to be able to control my own destiny rather than allowing other people or powers do it for me.

How does chess remind you of your home?
