I don't believe we've met, but I'd recommend you wear something warm to work while this weather lasts. If your boss objects, I'd be willing to help you file a complaint. A dress code like that is completely unreasonable today.

The whole reason I got a job was so I could afford to buy new clothing... specifically new shoes... and other neccessities. It's not like I wouldn't wear something warmer if I had it, but as it stands I only have what I arrived with, and they're not particularly warm either.

Oh... I guess I should explain. I'm a waitress, so there's a uniform I'm required to wear at work, no exceptions.
