It's one of the more reliable ways to acquire information. You can't always rely on what other people have to tell you, so...

Besides, I do enjoy reading, so it doesn't seem as dull as it may sound.

I'd never have the patience for that. Part of the reason why I'm really glad I don't have to attend the school here. But still, it's cool you can find out all that stuff.

Well, it seems as if the world I come from is considerably different from a majority of others. This is the easiest way to familiarize myself with different customs and traditions. Many of the events that occur seem to be directly related to one holiday or another, so it seemed best to remain informed.
