These should aid in generating warm air and providing areas for cooking food or boiling water. They may also serve to deter some of the wild animals. Please use standard fire precautions

Still, not everyone is comfortable with sleeping outdoors, nor is everyone capable of fending for themselves, so I'd like to help out where I can.

Well, yes, of course I would have. Back home we all had to work together in order to keep the city running. And besides, it would be unacceptable to just stand by and watch as others are struggling to survive.
