[Filtered from Renge; not hackable by her]
I wonder if half of Memento Eden is feeling sorry for me right about now... Does anyone have anything positive to say about this girl? So far I've heard she's crazy, special, eccentric... and "entertaining". I'd like a female's point-of-view if possible... so far my warnings have come from men. I hope she ( Read more... )

Um, well, Renge is a little eccentric and she tends to do things without asking others, but... she's a very good friend to me. She always listens when I need advice. I think that most people are put off by the fact that she often tries to help people even if they don't want it, but that's part of what I like about her.

I hope that helps you. You seem to be new here, yes?

Well, that definitely explains things better. Thank you.

I was beginning to get worried... [She admits this awkardly.]

I suppose it would make sense that men wouldn't want a girl trying to force "help" on them when they don't want it. It'd hurt their egos.

Yes, my name is Tear. I just arrived here a few days ago.

((I can't help thinking that this meeting would be a fanboy's dream since they are both very shapely ladies. *bricked*))

[laughing a little] Yes, I suppose it would. She's given me very good advice with my relationship though, so I trust her.

My name is Mikuru Asahina. It's nice to meet you, Tear. Have you been settling in well?

[Tear smiles.] I can tell she's an important person to you.

Yes, it's very nice to meet you, Miss Asahina. [Tear bows her head slightly.]

As a matter of fact, I've met a lot of people already and they've been a big help, so I suppose I've been settling in well. I do wonder if all newcomers attract this much attention, though...

The number of people I've spoken to in such a short span of time is a little overwhelming, but I think they all mean well.

Oh-!! How cute!
...I-I mean...

[Tear is blushing furiously because she has come into contact with yet another adorable mascot character. She wants to hug it.]

...it's nice to hear that Miss Renge has a good heart.

It's so adorable! What is it..?

[Fangirl-Radar activated! Ping, ping~ Mokona hops onto Tear's shoulder.]

Y-yes... you really are!

[Yes, Tear would be blushing like a school girl about now. She raises a gloved hand to pet Mokona who is now perched on her shoulder.]

So "Mokona" is what you're called.

There are many people in this world who can also engage in magical combat. Perhaps looking in to something like that would benefit you as well?

I began researching cooking on the suggestion of others here. XD

Magical combat? [Tear raises a hand to her chin in order to consider this. Surely if amnesia can be controlled in Memento Eden... wouldn't that be a kind of magic? Then other types of magic might also be possible. But is magic something you have to be born with the ability to perform.]

That sounds interesting, but I'm not sure if I'm capable of something like that. Wouldn't magic be something like a sixth sense, perhaps? I don't think I've done anything out of the ordinary.

[Then again, Tear wouldn't know, would she? She can only guess about these things.]

Oh, cooking? Might I ask how that turned out for you?

Hmm, magic power may be something inherent (though I cannot say that it would be the same for all magic users), however the means to control that power, spells and whatnot, may not be so ingrained as to be easily called on without memory. There are many other subjects in the library, so of course you should find one that you feel drawn to. It would benefit you to discover your "body memory," so physical subjects would be an excellent place to start.

Ahaha, I do not have much to report about cooking yet, as I am still researching and have not yet tried anything. I only just recently discovered that I could eat food, so hopefully I will be able to make some attempts soon.

I see. I'll have to look into it then. If nothing else, it sounds like an interesting subject.

"Body Memory"... like when you react to something naturally without even consciously thinking about it you mean? You may be right... If I observe myself and how my body reacts to things, I may find more clues.

(Tear isn't comfortable talking about her body.)

You weren't sure you could eat food? I understand. Good luck with your studies; I hope you can become good at cooking.

Yes, I heard she has published her own magazine... "Moe Moe"-- something. Do you know where I could find a copy?

Moe Moe Memento Eden. I'm not sure where she distributes from, but she'll probably show up on her own shortly.

You're probably right. People seem to show up right when you need them here.

Renge is very lively and enthusiastic, and I'm sure she means well, but.... She has a very unique way of seeing things that not very many people agree with.

((OOC: Our usernames kinda match. How neat. =D))

Yes, that's the general impression I've gotten of her so far. She seems to be a person who follows her own path.

Ah, yes, she follows her own path. Very, very loudly.
