[Hymn #33] ~Misterioso~

[Private; hackable to friends (if you've interacted with her at least 3-5 times I'd say)]

Mystearica Aura Fende. That's what Misa-Misa said my name was, at least. It seems like it could be correct, judging it against my brother's name. But it makes me wonder if there's a reason besides convenience's sake that I remembered myself simply as "Tear ( Read more... )

I wish I could say that I could answer that question for you, since I disappeared myself, but... I can't remember what I did between my visits to Memento Eden.

It's all right, Olette.
I'm not sure why, but it just bothers me for some reason. I guess we'll never know.

Sure doesn't seem like it. If I ever do remember, I'll definitely let you know, okay?

Come to think of it, you understand jokes rather well, don't you...?

Do you think a sense of humor is something that could be acquired through studying?

((Tear has no sense of humor and realizes she needs one. I would not suggest answering her questions with "yes".))

A bird perhaps? I don't think they'd disturb your flowers.

Hmm... perhaps.
Although, I'd feel guilty for having to keep it in a cage all the time.

Well yes, that would be rather cruel.

......

A squirrel perhaps?

...wouldn't a squirrel potentially need to be kept in a cage, too? And don't they tend to bury things underneath plants?

...maybe I should just stick with something boring, like a fish or a snail. It would certainly match my image.

Hm... a pet? Well, I've heard that some breeds of dogs and cats are hypoallergenic. They don't shed, or produce certain proteins that trigger allergic reactions in their owners. Though they're usually produced by cross-breeding, some varieties of cats are naturally hypoallergenic. Of course, this doesn't mean that they're totally safe. You should still frequently wash your hands and avoid rubbing sensitive areas, like the eyes, after touching your pet. Generally, people with pet allergies prefer dogs, as cats groom themselves using their saliva, which is often a trigger for allergy sufferers. Though there's no surefire way to tell whether a certain breed will be good for you. The best method of knowing is to spend time with the pet and see if you can tolerate it.

Although, you should probably get some more information before going to the pet store...

Pardon me, Hayate, but I just finished saying that I wasn't aware of any allergies I might have associated with animals, although I suppose it would be something to think about in the event that any future roommates that I may be paired with do have them.

Either way, it was good advice.
You must be quite knowledgeable when it comes to pets...

Hm, but you have to be considerate of your roommate and neighbors. Some people are set off quite easily. Plus, pets like to mark their territory and leave their scent on things, which can also cause reactions for some people.

Aha, I'm not all that knowledgeable...

Pro tip? Don't get parrots.

They're rather noisy, aren't they? I don't think I'd like that either.
Thank you for the advice.

Yeah, "rather noisy" is putting it lightly.

You're right. I don't think I could tolerate a bird screaming at me for more than a few minutes...
