Okay, some of you on my list enjoy this show. I've just gotten into it recently, so I have a question for you longer-tenured fans.

Sara Gilbert: did you enjoy her character as much as I did or is it just me still digging her from Roseanne?

I really enjoyed that bit. Sara Gilbert makes everything better.

I never watched Roseanne and I loved Leslie Winkle on sight. She's a hot, uber-feminist nerd who calls Sheldon "dumbass". What's not to love?

Also, yay another Big Bang theory fan! That show presses all my geek buttons, esp about comic books.

Penny: *Grabs the first magazine to hand* Here, you think my nephew will like this one?
Sheldon: An excellent choice!
Penny: *looks relieved*
Sheldon:...providing he's also read Infinite Crisis, 52 and the reinstallation of the DC multiverse.
Me: You forgot Countdown! But that's okay, I try to forget about it too.
Penny: What's a multiverse?
Me and Sheldon: Get her OUT of here!
Boyfriend: *clears fresh swathe of desk to beat head on*

And you don't even want to know what I was shouting at the TV when Sheldon and Stuart were arguing about who should be the next Batman. ("It's Tim Drake you know-nothing, Didiot-following @*&^%%sticks!")

I speak Geek, but only as a second language. So I have all the vocabulary, but none of the context.

I've been watching the show for about three weeks now and it's the only sitcom I've seen currently out that brings the lulz. In fact, I don't think I've lolled like that since Night Court went off the air.

Excellent, so Leslie is a recurring character. That bodes very well for my fledgling fan-ness.

I nearly peed myself laughing at the episode with Christine Baranski as Leonard's mom. It's okay if I totally ship Sheldon/Leonards's mom, right?

You know, if you take my Lavender from "Misspent Youth" and my Mercurial!Albus, throw in a casting couch and a smart-assed young man batting about three leagues over his head, then yeah, it'll work.
