J'adore smitten Spike. He's quite right that Dru is special. I do think she makes a better princess than queen, however. Unless it's Queen of his Heart. Likewise, I think he isn't best as a king, but makes an excellent Prince Consort. *happy sigh*

This is a terrific way for William to think of himself:

More imagination, too, since he could imagine a world without Angelus in charge.

Thanks! I've always wanted to explore a recently sired Spike's reaction to his new world, but I don't write him all that often. I'm glad you liked his reasoning!

I love your writing. As much as I don't usually enjoy stories about the Fanged Four (I only really care about Dru, lol) I couldn't stop reading this. You write with a wonderful rhythm!
