Wilson carried a few bags of groceries and a couple other items he'd been out picking up through the day as well as his briefcase through the apartment door around 5ish.

"Guh..." He muttered as he wrestled with bags, door, keys and more bags, finally making it through the entrance and kicking the door shut behind him.

He just couldn't bring himself to call out 'honey, I'm home' because that was too corny even for him at least while sober so instead he took a deep breath, grinned and then called out.

"I smell dead fish on tomato sauce!"

Chuckling to himself, Aziraphale wandered out of the study and took some of the bags from Wilson's arms.

"Lovely to see you too, James," he replied, brushing a light kiss to Wilson's lips before heading into the kitchen. "You said you wanted pizza, and so I got a pizza. And also beer. I still miss having a pub in town, though."

He set the groceries on the counter and proceeded to unpack them, the picture of utter domesticity. "How was your day?"

Setting his briefcase down in the hall, to move it to the dinning room table later, Wilson carried the last couple of bags into the kitchen behind the angel.

Then...he unceremoniously pinched Aziraphale's butt in response to the utterly domestic sounding question.

He couldn't help himself. It was there...begging to be pinched.

The angel made a sort of noise that was somewhere halfway between a squeak and a cough, and jumped. Looking over his shoulder, he gave Wilson one of his patented 'Really, my dear' looks and went back to calmly unpacking the groceries.

"Should I take that to mean you had a good day, then? Or that you're feeling cranky?"
