Wow!! This is amazing! I'm eager for more details on the reforge process as it seems different than Prowl just up and leaving with Jazz and no longer hiding who he was as a highly intelligent preprogrammed mech - they were assumed to be drone like. But it sounds like Smokescreen has been upgraded to a real mech? Which is awesome! I hope he is able to lose the negative emotions and still befriend Prowl =) What a lot to process, but I'm glad he went back to his own kin for help =)

I read this with very mixed feelings. I am happpy for Prowl, in that he is clearly in his element and appreciated for his talents, something every preprogrammed mech wants and never dares to hope for. I feel sorry for Smokescreen, because while he is glad to see Prowl happy, he wanted to be the one who gave him that happiness. I'm glad Smokescreen is good enough to accept the status quo.

Fascinating. I love Smokescreen being accepted back among his kin, finding solace and wisdom there. Love the glimpse of Prowl, seemingly free and happy. I hope Smokescreen finds even more peace than he has.
