5 beautiful African Cichlids.  About 3.5 inches in length.

3 orange and 2 brilliant blue.

I have been playing musical fish all evening and pretty much I am ready to just let nature and the whole circle of life thing have its way.

It is sooooo hard to catch a neon in a 55 gallon tank.

little bastards.

picture please! Are they all the same species, and the different colors signify gender?

Colors / gender??? a_nord July 2 2007, 11:16:37 UTC
Now I have to go by what Al the DumbAss Landscaper says. He said the orange were the females and the blues were the males. But I did detect the faint but distinct aroma of BS when he was talking.

I'll try to get a picture of them tonight.

Watch how fast the neon disappears. They are not hard to catch for a Cichlid. My 55 gal is almost empty due to my one cichlid. Now I feed it goldfish and crickets. Its almost big enough to fry ...

I finally caught the little bastard. I had to take all the plants out and the big rock too. but I got him.

Though I was tempted to just leave his ass in there.
