Harvey never has a problem with visitors, with getting to go and talk to people. Of course, some visits are more hoped-for than others, but he'll even take Bruce Wayne, if it means he gets out of his cell for a while. He's not choosy.

This visitor brought presents, at least. Jim found a few more true crime novels, and is bringing them as a peace offering for not visiting sooner.

He went to Chicago and when he got back, the Mayor seemed ready to chain him to his desk.

He smiles at Harvey when he's brought in to the room, genuinely happy to see him. "Hello, Harvey."

"Jim." He smiles back -- tired, a bit strained, but still a smile. "How've you been?"

Jim will note the strain. But really, does he expect Harvey to look content while he's in here?
"I've been... well, I've been shit, honestly. I took a trip to sign divorce papers and have been stuck to my desk ever since. You?"

"I'm sorry." Whether he is or isn't (two minds on the issue?), it's the proper thing to say. As for himself...

"You heard about the gassing?"

Livvie, truth be told, is here for two reasons: to check up on Dib, at work, and to visit Harvey. She wants to see the former at work without warning him she'll be there, and she is going to play secretary and pass notes for Harvey and Judah. Not that Judah's note is very long.

Either way, here she is. Sitting in this visiting room and wondering who decided fluorescent lighting was good for such ugly, bare walls.

Harvey would have an easy response to that -- they didn't care enough, or have enough money, for anything nicer. (But then, he's been here long enough to become just a little bit cynical.)

He's smiling when he's brought in, having been told before hand who this particular visitor is. "Livvie."

"Hi." She smiles back. It is good to see that he's...more or less okay, as far as she can tell.

"I wanted to know how you were doing." And wasn't feeling like doing cryptic postcards or whatever it is that Judah and Harvey usually use in order to communicate. "After the gassing and all that."

A little more, and a little less.

Livvie visiting isn't at all like Judah visiting, but... he can guess why Judah wouldn't want to. A few reasons. He doesn't say anything about it.

"I'm -- alright. I got caught in it, but I don't remember what happened. Apparently, I caused some trouble." His smile gets more strained.
