Livvie had seen the appointment Dib made with Judah less than three days later. She waited. And waited, and waited some more. Waited for Dib to quit his job, waited for Dib to tell her what he was seeing her boss for, waited for his nightmares to get better

Judah kind of suspected that she'd want to know. He's surprised it took this long. Still. A bit wary. "Yes?"

"Why is he seeing you?"

Might as well cut to the chase, right?

And she gets a Look at that. "You know I can't tell you that." Anymore than he can tell Mrs Fitz's lastest Fitz-whatever why she's seeing him.
