Congratulations. And the fortunate - *pause. Thinking* - spouse?

He snorts. "Spouses, actually. Yeah, them too," he grins widely. "So. How've you been?"

"You and Vic will make an adorable couple. Just don't be surprised if she makes you wear the dress."

He laughs. "Yeah, she would, wouldn't she? It'd give me a chance to show off my great legs, at least," he winks, then hugs her. "Hey. How're you doing?"

She returns the hug warmly, then holds up the new hand for his inspection. "Quite well, all things considered."

He takes her new hand in both of his, looking at it closely. "Looks good. A bit strange, but good." He thought he was done with being angry, but apparently isn't. He manages to hide it, though, and smiles at her a bit. "I was worried. I'm glad things're better."
