News from the frozen north

Well here we are again. Another inch here overnight and they are now suggesting this could be the coldest spell it has been in the UK for 100 years. My neighbour's son in law has cleared the path for a third time and I have been able to get the rubbish into the bins at last. WOW! that is so cold! how can they just refuse to pick up rubbish? i spose it wont smell in the cold tho...

Housing estates have not had snow cleared from roads or back streets. As we have had snow since the 17th December here they are skating rinks and too tricky for large lorries to manoeuvre on. Hard for the land of Oz to understand I know, but it is extreme weather, even for us! Stand by for piccies where I even got the zoom to be in focus.
