But, that's not what this post is about. The thing is, I made icons! My first icons!

Your icons are very good. "Look at me" made me say "awwww" as did the Alan one.

I have never seen anyone credit Warners or JKR for an icon do I think you are quite safe there. If I use other peoples icons and know where they come from, I give them credit. Just snagged the iBrow one !

Well, good to know that I don't have to put credits for the photos and quotes... I was a bit worried there...
Talking about crediting other people for their icons, how do I make their usernames into links, in my userpic page? There's something I never managed to do...

I liked book 7, but it would've been better if she concentrated in the horcrux hunt instead of introducing us to another completetly new thing... oh well, I still enjoyed reading, so no harm done, I guess...

I just took a peek at your Userpics and I see you are crediting people with the ones that you use. Some of mine do not come from LJ but I put the persons name down.

The thing is, I just put the name.What I wanted was to make the name links to the livejournal of these people...

How did you post all your new icons as a POST. I would have to use photobucket to do it. What do you think are the main advantages of having a PAID account ...besides the ability to have more than 15 userpics !

it worked a treat for my above "thwack" icon from lj user ="lunglock". This method should not differentiate between an Individual or a community and also shows how to credit NON LJ sites.

Yes, it does! (I supose that it has many more possibilities, I just don't know how to use them, yet) It is really easy, and I have it in portuguese, so I don't have problems with any technical words...
Well, I used photobucket... In new post, I changed to HTML mode and then copied the HTML code for each image provided by photobucket.
You know, this paid account was a birthday present from spacedlaw because I had said that I wanted more icons... and as the last months were a bit busy here, I hadn't the chance to explore all the possibilities of the paid account.

it's great. We muddled through it together and now our USER-Pics profiles will look really professional and helpful now.
I would be honoured if you took a few that I have made.
At the moment I am doing a "Snape's revenge icon.

Have you made more icons or just those in the userpic page? I loved then and I'm taking the *innocent* one! Looking forward the "snape's revenge".
