AH MAH GAH IS RIGHT.

I've only read this once, but my exuberant commentary cannot be contained from exploding out out of me, so it must be posted-- You did SUCH a good job with this. The characterization, the dialects, the atmosphere-- damn. You already know I'm a huge Firefly fan, and I think you nailed it pretty well here. You put in so many little details which totally absorb the reader into the world of the characters; it's evident you did your research into so many aspects of the series. I especially love--LOVELOVELOVEX1BILLION the random comedic mentions of Jayne (OH JAYNE, HOW I LOVE THEE), and Mal making the comment about how Kaylee's probably making a cake made of corn and tinfoil... yeah.. SO LIKE MAL TO MAKE A DICK COMMENT BECAUSE HE CAN'T DEAL WITH HIS AFFECTIONS TOWARDZ HIS CREW.

You did a great job with the UST between Mal and Inara... you portrayed it SO WELL THAT I COULD ACTUALLY HEAR THE CHARACTERS SPEAKING THE DIALOGUE IN MY HEAD. YEAH. THAT WAS SO THEM. FOR REALZ ( ... )

Omgzzz, I totally totally posted the wrong, less edited version of this fic by mistake. UGHHHH. I feel like such a twerp. I uploaded the right one now, but any and all grammar mistakes are still mine. I need a beta-reader, probs. I wanted to get this up here quickly so my help_japan winner didn't have to wait any longer, lol.

Thanks so much for reading this--as you can see, I really expected this BARRAGE OF SEVERAL COMMENTS (Lawlz) but I really do appreciate that you took the time to leave me everything you just wrote up there. I haven't written for a new fandom in a long-ass time, and it was kinda crazy hard, but I will say that I like how it turned out.

SO... thanks to your response, I now feel like EVERY STATEMENT SHOULD RANDOMLY END WITH THE WORDS "AND JAYNE".

YOU KNOW, LIKE "MAN I HAD A ROUGH DAY AT WORK. AND JAYNE".

OR

"DUDE, BIG MACS ARE LIKE THE BEST SANDWICH EVER. AND JAYNE".

YEAH GONNA STOP NOW.

OMG!

IS THAT FIREFLY FIC I SEE? After a year and a half I managed to squeeze it our of you! 8D
I see what you mean about researching the show. The dialogue is bang on. *MIGHTY FLAIL*

I could totally recognize each character's voice. I mean, that first paragraph alone tossed me back a whole decade to when it first aired. (Gah, It's been 10 years since it aired?!?)

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to nom on some of this ANGST.

I watch the whole series at least once every couple of months. It's just so good. That's why this task was...mighty daunting. >.<
