Now that you've grown to a considerable size (considering I had, like, maybe two people on my friends list for months), I was wondering if anyone here would mind giving me some music recommendations!

Well, for me, the top of the list is always gonna be Dir en grey. Most people either love 'em or hate 'em. I've loved them for almost a decade. =D

Anywho, cut straight from facebook, here's my list:

Yeaaaaaah, like I said, I'm up on anything J-rock. My company has represented Dir en grey in a few countries while on tour, so I know the guys decently, and am familiar with their music (especially when on tour...every...night...D: D: D:)

Anyway, I LOVE LOVE a lot of your music already (GNR, David Bowie, Rasputina, STP, etc) but there were a few on there I don't know or am not familiar with so I'll be sure to tell you if/when I get to check them out. Thanks so much for the list!!! :D

I JUST GOT VAST'S NEW CD TODAY I'MMA LISTEN TO IT AND WE CAN TALK ABOUT IT OK!?!?! :D :D :D

And I looooooooooooooooove the Dead Weather as well as Franz Ferdinand, but I haven't checked out the others (my roommate is a big Muse fan, though, so I'mma see if I can stealz from her). The above poster also lists Muse as music that is good and recommendable, so I will check out everything you says, Nim!

OOh yes definitely! "Sawdust" in particular has some great songs. In my opinion their albums just get better from Hot Fuss.

I should post some screenshots of my music folder and let you choose, hahaha! But I'm a major metal fan, so I can recommend you bands like Epica, Within Temptation, Nightwish, Haggard, Therion, Iron Maiden, Avantasia, AINA, The Gathering, Dragonhammer...

Regarding Jrock, I recommend Dir en Grey as well, and Girugamesh. :P

OH, MY GOD. I LOVE YOU.
Within Temptation and Nightwish and Dragonhammer...AAAAAGHH!! I love all of these bands! There's a couple on there that I haven't heard of that I'll check out. Have you listened to In This Moment or Straight Line Stitch before??

And like I said to above poster, I've worked with Dir en grey a fair amount and once did merchandise for Girugamesh, and I am familiar with both. And, I do love love love both. :D
