Hee! XD Well, I don't have much contact with him, since he lives in California. But he's not a distant relation or anything. One-a the Friendly crowd.

Mrr. I'm sure the health care thing will be explained in detail in some editorial somewhere.

ZOMG I'm so glad the people in my room weren't the only one making LotR references about that "epic battle" thing.

Me: "... Dude, don't say 'epic battle', that makes it sound kind'a cool."
Brian: "Yeah, like Lord of the Rings."
Me: "I don't think even the Rohirrim could help Bush now."

And I definitely almost choked over the children's video thing, too. I mean, seriously? Did his speechwriters not consider how that sounds?!

The way he said it made me think he was actually looking forward to it. "Dude, it'll be an epic battle. You won't want to miss it."

And I KNOW. He could have said 'in her home' or 'making children's videos independantly', and it would have sounded a LOT less sketchtacular. As it was though, it made for the funniest moment of the speech IMO. Betcha it shows up on Daily Show tonight.

If he mentione New Orleans, it was when I was drinking. Still have lots fo clean-up there, and lots of mistakes. THE SUNNIS SO NEED ORCS! Also, he mentioned a guest worker program, I believe? saw commentary on CNN about it afterwards. Sounds sketchy. Like some fucked-up mixture of slavery/sharecropping.

Also, state of the Union with College Dems= the best way to celebrate teh State of the Union.

But it would make such a great image on CNn! I'd love to be a war correspondent for that story. And I'd be tood too, 'cause I'm not willing to die for my story. I'd get my footage and get the hel out.
