So a week of pink eye that was actually STREP IN MY FUCKING EYEBALLS OMG GET IT OUT has finally passed, so I took the kiddo out today for some shopping and some food and then we saw Strange Magic and oh my god I loved it.

I hope I found the correct person (otherwise this would be quite awkward). I am looking for Resmiranda, the author of Tales from the House of the Moon. If you are her, I just wanted to personally say thank you. Thank you so much for writing a story that has stayed with me since the first time I read it all the way back in 2005 until now. I recently reread it during a depressing period of my life and and I rediscovered what it felt like to fall back in love with not just a story, but with everything that your story embodied.

I think you have stopped writing, and while I am saddened that the world is losing a talent such as yours, I understand whatever your reasons may be. I wish you the best in this world, and I will always remember your stories with the fondest memories.
