So, I read today that Television Without Pity is being put out to pasture.  That makes me somewhat sad.  I mean, I had stopped reading a long time ago (I think around the time of the big buy-out) when the shows they were covering just didn't seem to match up with my viewing any more, but my hubby and I used to read constantly and laugh and laugh.

I read the same post you did on EW and was unbearably sad. I think it is a terrible waste.

Yeah, J and I were lamenting it. All the time we spent reading recaps. He also mentioned Miss Alli (or whatever) and how much Survivor and Amazing Race time he spent on her recaps. Even though we weren't kids, somehow it feels like a piece of your childhood is dying, you know? Sort of one of my primary introductions to the concept of fandoms, I think.
