I'm a bit bored, and I was curious about this list of books.  So, here goes (I have no idea why the font is wonky):

The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE.

Did all these people not take English classes in school, because that alone would get me 6 books.
Seriously! I've read 10 of these in English class alone.

Also, it's totally cheating that they have The Complete Works of Shakespeare (oh god, I would rather shove a thousand hot pokers in my eyes than read this) and Hamlet as separate books. Technically, they've only got 99 books on the list. So there. :p EDIT: Nope, 98! I totally missed the repetition of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe the first time. Fail.
