Whew. Not only have I made it through another year (with a major job change thrown in there), but I made it through the weekend. We took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg, VA as sort of a belated birthday getaway for Jarrett (when it's $100/night cheaper, you go on whoever's birthday happens to be then). I knew I forgot something besides my hairbrush! Ididn't really get any time this year -- I will just have to find some another day. Life with kids will do that for you.

Happy birthday! Obviously I missed it, but I guess the magnet was a lucky guess! I'm glad you liked it. The t-shirt is made of awesome. Maybe I will have some time before Emma comes to watch some Buffy.

I forgot to respond to your last kid update to tell you that I like the name. Our cat is Emma, however, so I hope your Emma is not as furry as mine.

I read a lot of fanfic after Elliott was born. Jillian too, I suppose, but maternity leave can have it's up side. Of course, if you are home with both of them together, that's another problem all together.
