[Ness answers the door with tears streaming down his cheeks. He immediately, almost instinctively, clutches you in a tight embrace. His head buries into your shoulder, grabbing on to you for dear life. he sobs uncontrollably, muttering audible words between shouts of gibberish and incomprehensible moans of pain.]

[Lucas's first reaction is to try and support Ness, setting aside the shock of seeing his friend in such a state. . . . He almost drops him the minute he begins to mention the names of his family members and friends, though.]

[Flashes. Sudden images of the people that Lucas held dear to his heart. They would appear for a fleeting moment for what Ness assumed to be right before his very eyes. Faintly, he could hear their voices echoing in the back of his mind, serving as a reminder that it is all his fault that they are gone. Ness, however, cannot at this moment distinguish the difference between himself and Lucas to be at fault, so in turn, is now blaming himself for all of Lucas's turbulent past.]

PLEASE! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!

[Hinawa. Ness had never felt such despair and loneliness before. Was there any way to stop it? He's sobbing even harder now, panting heavily in Lucas's arms. He's nothing more than a mental mess with some SERIOUS need for a Shrink.]

[There is a increasingly large part of Lucas that is now considering dropping Ness and running away in horror. The more sensible part of him continues to bear Ness's weight as he stares dumbly at the top of his friend's head.]
