I'm sorry, the next chapter is short as well. The thing is, I like to write short things. I mean, I don't like to drag out my ideas when I can put them forward in fewer words. I hope you can understand -.-u

And no, he didn't give the letter to Subaru yet. That's going to happen in a couple of chapters. The only purpose of letting you read Shota's letter in the second chapter is that you know what's going on now.
