Just a side note, Tsu has volunteered to be there to knock Link out for his procedure, so minimal pain for the one smart enough to get a medic. XD

Of course, everyone's recovery is going to be different. That's how it is in real life too! Some people get over things in a few hours. Other people take weeks. Everyone's body is different, and our crew here is obviously no exception!

I should say that her ability could definitely be used in conjunction with her new limb. There's no reason why it wouldn't be able to. Patchouli's limb can route her magical abilities as easily as her real arm could, so whatever abilities Rin or anyone else has that need their bodies as grounds are definitely okay to use in conjunction with the limbs' increased strength.

So, I think Terezi is going to (or has, I am so slow at things) talk to Equius about getting Justin a new leg.

Blah blah, Hydok is a biologist and likes things like this. Justin's leg is missing right at the knee, so I think what Equius would have to do is either a. build the lower half of the joint (as the entire femur is still intact) or b. build an entire knee which would then require basically another amputation higher up Justin's leg to adjust for length and that sort of thing. If that makes sense.

Terezi has kind of talked to Equius about it a little, but it's been a looong time and I don't really remember exactly what was said or what they decided on doing. I think to get things on the right track, Justin might want to talk to Eq again soon, while he's more upset about stuff with other people to remember that Justin was "rude" to him before, haha.

As far as options, they could talk it out. Eq wouldn't cut off such a large extra bit of Justin's leg unless he was okay with it. (also, keep in mind that he has no real means of knocking him out or numbing him.) When he does his initial readying of the site, he's only cutting away tough scar tissue and things that will keep the arm/leg from healing properly around the cap that he's installing.

Okay! That makes sense! When is the best time for you to do this thing?

Yeah, I guess what I was asking was more "could he feasibly build just half of a joint or would it be better to do the whole thing", since Justin will go make sure he has a medic and stuff for the actual surgery.

He could probably do it. For simplicity's sake, let's just say that he can. lol

I may post tomorrow, and Justin can comment then if you'd like.
