The whole thing had been impressive and he certainly had not been expecting it. Still, despite knowing some of the finest cuisine in all of the world, he would not have traded this dinner for anything of the sort because it came from Jonathon and in all honesty, it was what he felt he needed as the week had sent him into a spiraling depression he was having trouble shaking. With a teammate gone, permanently, it had weight heavy on his mind and in that he had tried to give his other teammates space in their own grief. Jonathon though, he was good at keeping his mind off the sadder things that happened around the place and well, it was perfect for the make up, the week of being missed since he was a child before ( ... )

Drying his hands, he shook the excess water off before stepping closer to the other. Tilting his head, he nodded to the compliments, dropping his gaze out of some embarrassment. He hadn't expected to meet someone like Timothy in such a place like this (then again, he hadn't thought that he would find his sister in this place either). To be there for Timothy was something he wanted to do if it was in a place like this, because he was fond of the other, more than he had expected to be. Still, he wouldn't have changed anything about it.

"And I keep telling you that I don't need thanks for it." He found that accent endearing, kept that smile on his face because of it. "Do you wanna take a walk around? It's a nice... night." He made a face at his words, but refused to take that back.

It was better being here, having met Jonathon and that would never change he was certain of it. No matter what would come he hoped the other remained and made a choice that meeting him here was a fate of sorts, was something that he desired in his life and part of that was love and affection and well--Jonathon was never short of that. Smiling at the other though, he turned to face him and shook his head. "But I do!"

A small laugh caught his breath. "I do need to thank you for it, the entire gesture was very kind of you." Came the reply before he looked to the door then back to the other with a small nod of his head after washing out the sink.

"I would--it would be a perfect ending to this evening."

The reply had him laugh and he only watched the other explain himself, nodding along with his words, as if he was only humouring the other. He was listening in all honesty-- but he didn't need the thanks for it. It was what he wanted to do, especially for someone like Timothy, in all that he had done for him in turn. Brows raising as he finished, he reached out for the taller one's hands, tugging him along as he moved backwards, into the hall.

"You're making this sound like one of those stories, you know that?" The grin on his face now crooked, he tilts his head, continued to lead the other along. "The kind where we get married and have three kids or something."

A joke, a joke. He teased.
