There was a polite knock on the door before Dick let himself in. He didn't bother actually waiting for an answer, but he knocked so she knew he was coming in. He had a letter that was neatly folded in his pocket.

"Hey Babs. Wasn't sure you were busy, but I do have something for you." He slipped his hand into his pocket and waved the folded paper. "You have some fans. I didn't read it though." But he knew who it was from.

Barbara looks up from what she's doing when Dick comes in, smiling a bit. He's developed a habit of just walking into her room so she's used to it. She doesn't move from where she is but she does turn the chair so she can face him.

"I'm never too busy for you. You know that." Unless it's a matter of life or death, she'd probably drop whatever she was doing for him. The paper confuses her a bit but she reaches out to take it, slowly unfolding it. "A note?"

The expression on her face is neutral when she starts reading but as the note goes on, a small smile forms across her lips. She's still not sure how she feels about everything she's heard will happen in the future. It's hard to deal with. But meeting Cassandra and Charlie (and Stephanie while she was around)...well, maybe the three of them make her feel the tiniest bit more hopeful about the future.

He takes a seat on the floor, resting his head on her lap lazily. He can't help but smile a little as he sees the smile on Babs' face slowly appear.

"It looks like they must have written something good. Hopefully it doesn't include picking on me," he says with a light chuckle. "Did you enjoy their company while they were here?"

It was nice to know they were holding up well. He rarely saw Cass as is, so seeing her briefly was refreshing.

Barbara rests a hand on his head as she continues reading, running her fingers lightly through his hair. It's a nice note, if not a little sad. Still, it's kind of sweet that they took time to write it and say goodbye. When she's done she folds the note up, looking down at Dick and giving him a smile.

"Yes Dick. The entire note was just them making fun of you," she said, patting his head. "It was...nice. They're good girls. Even if Charlie is a little too excited about everything."
