Summary: While destruction reigns supreme outside, near the bank is a house surrounded in a dome of barely-there blue light; it stays up, untouched by the black blood and the storm of powers outside.

[Nill wasn't sure what, exactly, she was supposed to do except hide. Luckily, she'd happened upon the store of food and was standing idly in the kitchen, wondering if it would be okay for her to make something to eat for everyone in the shelter. She thought that maybe a cake or some cookies would cheer people up... but it wasn't her food. She didn't want to just take anything.]

[She will feel just awful and believe every word he says because children do not lie, obviously. Her eyes light up a bit, though; well, that wasn't so hard. That's basically just how she always communicates. She'll rock at charades.]

[Nill shrugs. She doesn't really know many people here yet, no matter how often she's gone on the 'berry network. There were so many faces and names to remember.]

[Looks at the oven. He might be hungry... Maybe.]

[Luckily for him, the cake is just about done. Nill goes to the oven to check just a minute later, and pulls it out, mitt on her hand. She places it gently on the stove and turns off the oven. Mmm smell that chocolate.]
