Karkat poked his head out of one of the nearby school window, eyes wide with surprise.

"Oh shit, hey, you're here!"

Then he slammed the window shut and disappeared into the school again, reappearing at the entrance way a short time later. He looked a bit nervous and out of sorts, but mostly he just looked glad to see Sollux again.

"What's up?"

He turned to face him, a little startled as he shouted to him from the window. He was surprised at how, relieved, he felt to see him. Of course it was extremely unlikely that something would have happened in the little more than a half hour they were apart, but still. He gave Karkat a small smile as he appeared suddenly at the door, but it wasn't really a happy expression. It was buried under all the other shit that was still bothering him about what he'd learned this afternoon. Really it just mad him look even more upset.

He stood up and turned to walk towards Karkat. "Just. Thinking too much."

Karkat paused, hesitantly. He'd just had his own weird experiences, and part of him wondered if Sollux had had something equally troubling.

He came forward a few steps.

"Did something...happen?"

He frowned.

"Kind of. Just." and then he was throwing his arms around him, not even remembering to be mindful of this whole "touching him" thing, totally sinking into him.

"Thanks." he mutters, voice muffled.
