[Of course Eridan spent the time between messaging Fef and her showing up by getting everything perfect. Which basically means he pulled out a can of Tab for her (yes he was still hoarding a couple of them in his fridge) and then carefully considered whether or not he really looked okay without covering his missing fin. He's good at getting ready.

Of course he's pretty fast as usual to open the door, and looks much more willing and ready to see her than the last time she came over. He does glance at her wings somewhat suspiciously, frowning a bit when he sees their color (he'd at least hoped if his had to be dark then hers would be dark too to match), but he doesn't say anything about them.]

[As per tradition Feferi gives him a hug as soon as he opens the door, hindered somewhat by the fact he had wings sticking out of his back. She doesn't let that stop her of course, so a hug he gets until she pulls back to regard his wings.]

Hehe- pretty dramatic, huh? [She flutters hers and it doesn't hurt as much now at least, at the beginning this whole experiment was pretty annoying if you asked her.] Why didn't they do this out of this place anyway? We can't even fly! It's so stupid! [Honestly she wasn't paying all that much attention to the colors and their differences, she figured darker was more dramatic, which was pretty much Eridan if you asked her. She pays good attention to what's going on this week :|b totally.]

[well it's not like he's paying any more attention, other than knowing that all the other trolls have lighter ones than he does and it's weird being so mismatched.]

We could sorta fly a little, in the biodome. Mostly it was prob'ly just to piss us off though and hurt and shit.

[and it's probably not surprising that he is not just jumping right into conversation here. it is Eridan after all, just asking to talk about his feelings at all is sort of a big step.]

We could still try! It'd be fun- [Her excitement proceeds to make her wings flutter some more and smack the door loudly. She folds them in quickly with a laugh] Ok, maybe flying would be little dangerous. These things are hard to reel in!

[No big deal, pft. Feferi is quite obviously excited about the fact Eridan actually asked to talk about feelings, if not a tiny bit skeptical if he was actually going to be forthright about them.
