Summary: John and Karkat have lost their eyes. Terezi decides they need something to do. That something might actually be teaching them how to blindfight. (And Davesprite doesn't seem to like this idea.)

ROUND ONE: KARKAT

[Terezi leans on her cane, an amused grin on her lips. Blindfighting is clearly the best idea to keep these two out of trouble--and more importantly out of each other's hair. Unfortunately, she's only one person, so she has to teach them one at a time. Oh well.

Karkat's up first, and Terezi is just waiting for him to finish childproofing his weapon. Not that she needs it at all, but it'd be nice if he didn't accidentally gouge his arm open or something.]

Any day now! It's going to be Saturday before you're finished with that!

[Karkat just frowns in annoyance at her - this would be a lot easier if he wasn't doing the whole fucking thing by touch. The fact that he's also pretty worried about cutting himself is making it slow work. On the bright side...everyone here already know his blood colour. Huh.]

Settle down, laser snout, I'm just about fucking finished.

[In fact he's just wrapping up the end, before carefully pinning it and just narrowly avoiding pricking himself. He winces, and then feels over the blades surface. It's all wrapped up in gauze to mute its sharp edges. Much better for practice, though a bit more dorky looking.]

[He gets up off the couch, positioning himself closer to Terezi's voice, his movements uncertain. After he finds a spot that feels satisfactory, he spins the sickle around in his hand a few times, trying to get used to its new weight.]

You ready for this?

Ready for what? To laugh my ass off? Trust me, I am fully prepared!

[But in all seriousness, she's ready. Terezi picks the tip of her cane up off the floor where she was leaning on it. She takes a few practice swings, her perceptive hearing picking up the familiar swishing noise as the metal cuts through the air. It's a soothing noise to her, almost relaxing after spending so much time without her cane this week. Loaning out her only weapon is unsettling.]

First pointer: You can hear that, right? [She makes another swing, this time in his general direction.]

ROUND TWO: JOHN

[John is another story entirely. It's going to be interesting trying this with a long and short-range fighter, instead of just simply short-range. She's almost excited for the challenge...even if she doesn't expect it to be much of one.]

So, I guess before we start I should lay down some ground rules. You can use your hammer or your windy thing! But no crazy tornadoes. No blowing holes in the wall. No wind-drills. Lets try to keep the living space in tact, okay?

[Actually, it's probably a good thing that they tucked the limb collection away for the time being...]
