Lili waved her single hand back dismissively, automatically talking with her mind due to Sollux doing the same. Its fine, don't worry about it. By this point, she was comfortable enough to let her adopted brother have some mental connection to her mind. He most likely getting to enjoy the occasional stray whisper of plants from the biodome or thought of someone passing by. Her telepathy was a pain in the ass.

She did verbally sigh at his uncomfortable pause, she gently reaching out to punch the troll in the shoulder. "I don't know what happened, but- stop being such a baby." There was no real venom in her words, just moving forward to actually knock on the door.

Now to wait for a familiar angry troll to actually answer the knocking.

It took Karkat a while to get around to answering - both out of caution and difficult navigating his own room. But then he did speak it was at least fairly clear. He must have been lingering on just the other side of the door.

"Who is it?" he barked with a trace more paranoia in his tone than usual. "What do you want?"

Sollux sighed in annoyance. He obviously couldn't say what he wanted, though obviously Karkat didn't know that. He was briefly tempted to kick the door but just stood for glaring at it instead, before turning to look back at Lili. He rubbed the spot on his arm where she'd punch him. It hadn't really hurt but, he had no other way of reacting to it so whatever.

I'm here to apologize. You're my translator. Just explain it to the stupid asshole.

"Sollux is here to apologize to you, so open the door. Would be nice to do this face to face you know," Lili was really not the best choice for patient translator, but it was all Sollux had without involving twenty other people.

Obviously, this was going to go smoothly.

Smoothly as a sailboat going through a lake of peanut butter.
