Gojyo considered going into the bathroom to clean up first. He knew what would happen when he went into their room -- Hakkai would freak. He'd probably want to go after Hazel and kill him immediately, once he stopped that annoying worrying he did. He was fine, really. Just a few scratches. And a bloody nose.

There wasn't much of a point though, since Hakkai always figured it out anyway. And hell, he needed to talk to his best friend about it, 'cause this could get serious. Gojyo opened the door to their room and stepped inside, shutting it again immediately. "Hakkai?"

He could tell something was wrong just from the way Gojyo said his name. Looking up, Hakkai frowned in concern at the sight that met his eyes. It was obvious -bloody nose notwithstanding- that Gojyo had been in a fight. "What's wrong?" he asked, marking his place and setting his book aside. There was no point in asking 'what happened' - that was obvious enough. He stood up and immediately began checking his friend's injuries - just a few minor scrapes, thankfully.

Gojyo tried not to wince as Hakkai poked at his bruises. Why the hell did he do that, anyway? He could just start healing. "Y'know how we can boss people around this week?" he asked, pulling off his shirt so Hakkai could examine his chest better.

It seemed the worst Gojyo had suffered was a bloody nose - just bruised, not broken. Hakkai concentrated, brushing his fingers gently over the redhead's face, using his chi to repair the damaged capillaries and ease any residual pain. "Ah." Hakkai hadn't yet found out who he was paired up with, though he didn't particularly care; he had no desire to make a slave of someone. Better that whoever it was remained anonymous. "Someone was ordered to attack you."

Gojyo let out a small sigh once the pain faded, using his shirt to wipe away the blood that had gathered under his nose. "Ordered to kill me, I think," Gojyo said, dropping his shirt to the floor. He'd have to go take a shower later. He raised an eyebrow, looking at Hakkai. "And I'm sure you can figure out who the fuck would do that."
