Marie let out a low sigh, pinned against the wall by the vines. Of course the one time she chose to overlook that cluster of vines would be the one time that they chose to grab her. Struggling only served to urge the vines into tightening their grip, and she wasn't quite in the mood to lose circulation in her limbs.

So all she could do for now was to wait for her knight in shining armor to arrive and free her from her green binds.

Marie didn't have to wait long, Alex was already nearby when he heard her sigh. Part of him wanted to turn around and ignore it, but on the off chance it was someone he knew he couldn't exactly leave them hanging. He picked up his pace to investigate, mentally groaning when he was close enough to see who it was. This was the fourth "damsel-in-distress" from Shibusen he'd stumbled on.

"Hello Mjolnir, hang around here often?" The deadpanning really wasn't something he could help sometimes, but joking aside he was already thinking of how to remove her restraints.

"Who would want to hang out around here?" Whoops. Guess who just missed the sarcasm? She struggles a little at the sight of him, but the vines merely tighten. "Just get me out of here before they cut off my circulation."
