[Well, he had to admit, he did not expect for that little fiasco to happen. After all, he only wanted her out of the way, but having her almost getting killed and molested in a place where he couldn't see? That put a bit of a blow to his mind. He hadn't intended for it go that far, really.

And so, he simply gave her a smile as he jumped from iceberg to iceberg.]

Some place where the lights are really beautiful. Granted, it's kind of further down, but the illumination is spectacular, as is the view of the landscape. Or at least, that's what I've heard.

[Thursday evening] On the train

[Darc is currently standing with his arms folded, his focus on the view from the window of the train as the scenery speeds by beyond it. It makes him feel mildly nauseous, given that he's unused to such transport as this, though its got easier over the course of the three weeks they've been in Wonderland.

He's on his way back to the Mysterious East, returning to his and Izaya's base of operations after spending the day killing monsters for teeth - he wants more steak! - and is feeling a little tired and distracted. Enough that he's not paying attention to what's going on in his carriage of the train, or who else might be around]

[Thursday evening] On the train

[He turns around on hearing his name being called out, his posture mildly tense and defensive, though this is more to do with the experiment than anything; he'd recognised Fujino's voice and caught her scent easily enough]

Hmm. I haven't seen you for a while. [He shrugs] Not so bad I guess, considering the circumstances.

[There's a brief pause, then he remembers that humans generally expect you to question them in return when they ask how you've been doing]

[Stein had been staying around the Dollhouse all week, finding the stitches everywhere comforting and familiar. And best of all, there were plenty of places for him to avoid people, but when he actually noticed someone wandering around the area - and one of his pseudo-students to boot - he figured he should actually go and be social and at the very least say hello.]

Fujino, how lovely to see you around. I was starting to get worried something ate you during this trip. [Or someone. Or someone in particular who is most certainly not named Asura what gave you that idea.]

I'm doing alright. A little woozy, but I always am when everyone's powers get let loose it seems. Or maybe it's just that I haven't had anything to eat in a while. [But he shrugs, all in all in pretty good spirits.]

Hopefully I'm going to manage to kill a few monsters and get a decent meal before we have to go back to Facility Number One. How about you, enjoying the real food at all?

[Well this week was sucking royally so far! What with exchanging memories with Patchouli on the very first day and then being ordered to stay out of trouble, God what a pain. Alex was spending the ordered down time constructively, by pacing through the train and muttering to himself like every brooding psychopath should.]
