The light played across the insides of Harry's eyelids, tugging him awake. Careful not to make a sound, he opened his eyes, taking in Tsunade, the train car, and the remains of the intricate pattern he'd drawn on his own stomach earlier, lit by the strange green light.

He cocked his head, looking at her, making sure he caught her eyes before moving his lips as if he were speaking.

I did a little healing of my own earlier. You can tell me how well it worked, but I feel a lot less fragile.

A tired smile tugs at her lips. One of her fingers trails over the design, eyes slipping half closed while she concentrates.

You're good at the structural stuff. You've made some progress on knitting the muscles together, the area feels more stable. Frees me up for clean up work, since I don't have to worry as much about you popping back open.

She opens her eyes and glances at him before refocusing on where her hands are resting. Between Rin's desperate cauterization and her own rushed work, there's more damage to repair than the original wound. It kept him alive, but there was a price to pay.

Harry nods, looking over her, a little concerned.

don't wear yourself out too much with the clean up. I can pull the same trick tomorrow once I get a good night's sleep under my belt to recharge my batteries. But you oughta rest too, how long have you been here?

He tries not to, but shifts just a little bit, still not quite used to the feeling of his own flesh moving and shifting at another person's command.

Don't move. At least for a bit longer. Everyone's done good work on you, but that was a damn close call.

One of her hands moves to run over his cheek before going back to his stomach. She knew how much it sucked to be flat out with an injury. She could still remember being flat on her back for the better part of a week when she'd been skewered by a spear. By the fourth day she'd been clawing the walls.

I'm not letting you end up sick after all of this. A lot of the structural stuff has been put back where it needs to be, and I don't feel any serious leaks. Your gallbladder is almost back to normal, as well. Manage infection and get this repair work stronger and you'll be sitting up and eating in no time.
